“Bachelor” Colton Underwood announced his fans on social media that he tested positive for COVID-19 on March 20, urging people to stay at home and prevent the spread of the virus.
“I want to let you guys know, I’m 28. I consider myself pretty healthy. I work out regularly. I eat healthy, and I became symptomatic a few days ago,” Underwood said in a video shared on Twitter.
“It’s been kicking my a–, just to put it bluntly. Main thing is I can’t even walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath or go to the bathroom without having to sit down because I’m exhausted,” he added.
The former NFL star had a rough experience with coronavirus, his lungs functioned at a 20% capacity, he could barely speak.
“I think the scary part in all this (was) what my symptoms were and what worked for me might not be your symptoms and might not work for you,” wrote Underwood. “So it’s hard for me to even give people advice in all of this. I know what worked for me medicine-wise, and I don’t know it’s gonna work for everybody. But I would just say try to have a positive attitude, as scary as it is. Just know that there are people out there that are fighting harder and there are people out there that are going through the same thing as you.”
14. Andy Cohen
TV host, Andy Cohen announced on March 20 that he has COVID-19.
“After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better.”
The worst part for him in coping with the virus was the fact that he had to self-isolate and that changed his life completely. “I respond to a busy schedule and having a lot of work, so being laid up in my bed for two weeks was a new experience,” he said.
The host of “Watch What Happens Live” doesn’t know for sure where he got the virus from, but he explicitly told that: “I will say, as I told you, I have a neighbor who has it, I have a friend who has it, there’s someone in my building who just has got it,” during an episode of his radio show.
