New Orleans was the location of one of the first coronavirus outbreaks, largely due to the Mardi Gras celebrations at the beginning of March. But, unfortunately, Louisiana has returned to hotspot status. According to Johns Hopkins’ data, more than 120 new cases were registered in Orleans Parish on 22 July.
