The state is seeing a positive test rate of 24.8 percent and the highest daily new case rate in America, with 46.0 cases per 100,000 residents. These figures are very alarming and the state is in a critical situation, according to Covid Act Now.
There are 21,404 COVID-19 cases in the state right now, with 2,380 new cases recorded in the last seven days, according to The New York Times.
