The news about a lump in the armpit might cause a lot of concern because several people started to notice it after they got vaccinated against COVID-19. However, medical experts want people to know that it is a normal symptom and people shouldn’t be scared.
In fact, in its report about the Moderna vaccine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) also mentioned that lymphadenopathy, or otherwise known as the swelling of lymph nodes could happen after vaccination. Therefore, in rare cases, some people can experience a lump in the arms or in the neck.
