As the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) wrote in its report, this side effect is short-term, so it shouldn’t last more than a day or two, and it usually appears two to four days after vaccination.
While this side effect is very rare and only a few get to experience it, it’s not dangerous or painful, according to the CDC. “Reports of lymphadenopathy were imbalanced with 1.1 percent of persons in the vaccine group and 0.6 percent in the placebo group reporting such events,” the CDC added.
