AstraZeneca is currently analyzing the results once again and will have the final results in a few days.

After the National Institutes of Health (NIH) suspected data being outdated, AstraZeneca released another statement, in less than 12 hours. The company wrote in its statement that its data was in accordance with a pre-specified interim analysis, with data being cut-off on 17 February.

The company is now working with the Data and Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) in order to confirm the vaccine’s safety and efficacy. AstraZeneca stated its immediate engagement in offering accurate analysis, containing the most up-to-date efficacy information. We should have the results in about 48 hours, as they mentioned in their statement.
