Pretty much anything in an airport
I think this is understandable, considering that about 2.6 million passengers are traveling by plane every day, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Millions of people mean millions of germs, and more shared public surfaces where you’ll encounter them.
No, I do not suggest not traveling anymore. However, try to avoid touching doorknobs, water fountains, kiosk screens, and especially those plastic tubs and trays in the airport security line. Those trays are used to put dirty shoes and bags, leading to contamination, according to research published in BMC Infectious Diseases.
