Almost anything in a doctor’s office
Because so many patients are visiting the doctor’s office each day, most things in that office are full of germs and bacteria, especially the sign-in pen. In fact, a study has proven that there are 46,000 more germs on that pen than on an average toilet seat. Gross, right?
Other filled-with-germs things you should avoid touching are the waiting room chair armrest and the door handle. Sometimes it’s impossible not to touch those things, however, make sure to wash your hands as soon as possible. So take a few minutes after your visit is over to go to the restroom and thoroughly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds using water and soap.
