2. Too many details about your weekend to your boss
Sharing too much information with your boss about what you did on the weekend isn’t professional at all.
If your boss asks you, “What did you do this weekend?” don’t share a play-by-play of every place you visited on your mini-vacation. Keep the relationship you have with your boss professional and be respectful, yet stop over-sharing every small detail.
When in doubt, sharing less is better, but remember to be polite and thank him for asking and ask how his weekend went as well.
