Since mid-June, Oklahoma has seen a significant increase in coronavirus cases, and that number is still going up since then. Oklahoma was cited for not following five of the recommendations from the task force, such as closing bars, limiting gatherings for up to 10 people, reducing indoor dining to 25 percent capacity, closing (or even limitating) gym capacity, and implementing mask mandates for businesses, according to Tulsa World.
As the White House document that leaked last week shows, Oklahoma has seen a 35 percent increase in the number of COVID-related deaths in the last week.
