What Your Body Language Tells About You During Job Interviews

You’re not considering personal space.

You should avoid invading other people’s personal space, because it sends the wrong message, suggesting that you don’t respect personal boundaries, which can be problematic in a work environment.

Try to keep at least a foot and a half distance from yourself and your interviewer, in order to avoid making them feel uncomfortable, or vice versa. Even so, the ideal amount of space between you and another person should be somewhere between three and eight feet.

The only situation in which you are allowed to get closer to your interviewer and touch them is when your shaking hands.
