As you probably know already, COVID-19 can be deadly for some people, and even those who recover from the infection might have to deal with symptoms months after testing positive for the virus.
Long COVID-19 symptoms are real, and some people are experiencing them even a few months after infection. A statement published on March 18 revealed that Kent Taylor, Texas Roadhouse’s CEO took his own life at the age of 65 after struggling with long COVID-19 symptoms.
His own family stated that he struggled for a long time with COVID-19 long-lasting symptoms, mentioning one in particular that really affected Taylor’s wellbeing: tinnitus. Tinnitus is a condition that manifests through a ringing or buzzing in the ears.
“Kent battled and fought hard like the former track champion that he was, but the suffering that greatly intensified in recent days became unbearable,” his family told in a statement.
