The Pfizer vaccine could be even more effective in children, according to the study.
As the study results have indicated, the Pfizer vaccine could work better for children and adolescents, than it does for adults. The study was published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and found out that Pfizer is 90 percent effective in real-world conditions, in people over 16 years old.
As Akiko Iwasaki, PhD, an immunologist at Yale University, shared with The New York Times, this is definitely great news and we’re all happy to hear it. It’s even greater than the vaccine has been labeled as ‘A-plus’ in adults, and ‘A-plus-plus’ in children and adolescents.
