Nipple cream
It’s very common for breastfeeding mothers to use a nipple cream to help them avoid soreness. However, many nipple creams contain lanolin, which we mentioned previously as being a common allergen.
Lanolin is a substance extracted from wool-bearing animals, and many people are allergic to it. Therefore, if you experience rashes or swelling after applying your nipple cream, you’re probably allergic to it so you should stop using it.
