The symptoms are usually restricted to the area of contact, so the most common symptoms can be inflammation, vaginitis, unusual discharge, itching or even pain, and cause irritation in the mouth or throat, Halverson added.
Makeup
Many cosmetics and makeup products are fragranced these days, also containing components of Balsam of Peru, which is a tree found in the Central American area known to cause allergies in humans.
As Dr. Lavi has explained, Balsam of Peru is commonly used in certain makeup products, causing allergic reactions in those who use them. This allergy reaction manifests through rashes on the face or n the area where you applied the product.
