In the 60s the dictator of Iraq married his first cousin, Sajida Talfah. The marriage was arranged and negotiated by their parents when they weren’t even ten years old. This seems like a medieval practice, but it is still very common in many Muslim countries.
Some sources claim that Saddam’s wife was just as greedy and violent as her husband. Soon, the dictator began making public appearances with his second wife, which enraged Sajida and her family. Her brother deeply condemned Saddam’s actions, which led to a tragic accident where he was killed.
Saddam stayed married to Sadija until his capture and execution.

The way I understand Rudy’s and Regina family relationship is not second cousins but first cousins once removed. If Regina had a child, that child and Rudy would be second cousins. Help me understand the connection if I am incorrect.
