Probably one of the most popular conspiracy theories about the medical field, believes we’ve already discovered the cure for cancer, but the major pharmaceutical companies just don’t want to give it to us.
Conspiracy theorists assume Big Pharma refuses to give us the cure for cancer, since cancer treatment generates lots of money every year, and the existence of treatment would really impact drug companies and would leave many medical experts without a job.
According to Big Think, while these accusations are very powerful, there’s no hard evidence that Big Pharma is guilty, considering the operation would require thousands of participants and employees in both for-profit and non-profit sectors.
Also, the existence of a cure could generate even more money than the treatment, as you can imagine it would be a lot more expensive.
