3. Party time by Alexa
We all like parties, especially if there’s some good music and some awesome company involved. But what if the circumstances were a bit different? This incident took place in Hamburg, Germany when Amazon Alexa decided to throw a party by itself at around 2 am in the morning. Imagine that you are sleeping and some of your neighbors turned on the music, blasting it out loud just because they were in the mood to rock the house.
This led to the police being called because all of the neighbors had been disturbed by all the noise. After the police arrived at the destination, surprise: nobody was home. That’s crazy indeed, because the officers had to break into the person’s house to see that Alexa was having some fun on its own. However, this situation didn’t have a nice ending with the device being unplugged and the locks needing to be changed, as a tiny gift for the homeowners who in turn, unfortunately, were forced to go to the police station and pay a fine. As well as being forced to get rid of their smart devices that weren’t that “smart” that night.
