Robert Redfield is worried about both the rioters and the members of Congress and law enforcement officers who worked that day and were probably exposed to coronavirus, however, he fears that the virus could affect more people than those involved in the riot and those in Washington, D.C.
And that’s because people all over the country were present in the event, so we could expect to see a surge in every state, Redfield added.
“These individuals all are going in cars and trains and planes going home all across the country right now. So I do think this is an event that will probably lead to a significant spreading event,” Redfield added. This event will likely have severe health consequences in the United States, he said.
