9. Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams
Alexis and Serena’s relationship started by chance, as they said in an interview. Both of them stayed in the same hotel in Rome when they first met in 2015. Serena had no idea who he was, as she was no Reddit user, and Alexis didn’t know much about tennis either, but he certainly knew who she was.
She played at the Italian Open at that time when Ohanian attended her first match, and then she invited him to the French Open as well. Ohanian accepted her invitation and took Serena to a walk-in Paris on one of their first dates.
They always tried to keep their relationship private, even though he attended some of her matches. A year after they first met, Ohanian took Serena to the same hotel and asked her to be his wife. One month later, she found out she was pregnant and welcomed their first child, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., on September 1, 2017.
A few months after their first child arrived, Serena and Alexis got married in New Orleans. As Ohanian has shared in an interview for Vanity Fair, Serena makes him a better person, because her simple presence made him want to succeed.
