7. Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee
Jackman and Lee got together more than two decades ago and they form one of the most long-lasting couples in Hollywood. They met in 1995 when they both appeared on ‘Correlli’ and fur months after, he popped the question.
Some might say it’s very quick, but Jackman knew two weeks after they first met that she’s going to be his forever partner, as he mentioned during a 2018 interview on NBC’s Today. “We just had this amazing connection,” she added.
They got married in 1996 and adopted two children, Oscar and Ava. Deborra says she wasn’t ready for marriage at that time and she didn’t want to date another actor, and the fact that she was 13 years older than her now-husband also made her feel insecure.
However, she broke her rule of dating another actor after she felt an ‘instant connection’ for Jackman. As he told People, “One of the great pieces of fortune in my career, it started late, but that Deb and I were already set together, a team, madly in love, like literally before it all happened.”
And even though they’re two very busy individuals, their priority will always be family, this is their secret.
