Or, at least, the compounds of a nail. Iron is an important nutrient required by the human body. It helps your red blood cells carry oxygen, which is needed in your body to generate energy. That’s why feelings of fatigue can indicate an iron deficiency.
Amazingly, a healthy adult has only three grams of iron, so that it might shape a nail up to three inches long if taken out and melted down.
28. Redheads aren’t actually going extinct.
A rumor appears on the internet frequently that natural redheads will be extinct by the year 2060. Luckily for all you gingers out there, this is just a myth. It’s true that the gene that causes red hair is recessive, meaning both parents need to have red hair for their child to have it. Even non-redheads, however, may carry the red hair gene, and it can show up spontaneously down the line over generations.
