#Skip: Getting a haircut at a salon.

Now that the number of COVID-19 new cases is dramatically increasing all around the United States, it’s not safe to go to a salon to get a hair cut. While it’s a medium-risk activity, the risk of infection can be reduced if the hairdresser and the clients are wearing a face covering, especially considering it’s an indoor activity.

Therefore, if you need a haircut as soon as possible, make sure to wear a mask and ask the employees to wear PPE as well, keep the six feet apart distance, wash your hand frequently and use hand sanitizer and keep your visit short.

#Skip: Traveling by plane these days.

The high-tech air filtration systems installed in almost every modern airplane is definitely much better than most homes, therefore, the act of flying itself is considered to be pretty safe if every passenger and employee is wearing a face covering.

However, the problem with traveling by plane is caused by many other factors such as crowded airports, many high-touch surfaces, indoor spaces full of people, not being able to keep the six feet distance, and maybe not everyone is wearing a mask. All these factors have labeled traveling by plane as a high-risk activity during a COVID-19 pandemic.

Traveling by plane right now will expose you to the same risk as going to a crowded bar, an indoor concert, religious gatherings, or playing contact sports, and will contribute to the spread of the virus.
