There are legal grounds for making the COVID vaccine mandatory on campuses.
As public data has shown, universities and college campuses can easily turn into COVID hotspots, due to the crowded classrooms, poorly ventilated rooms, and tight living quarters. That’s why the health care officials decided to switch to online learning until the virus is kept under control.
As CNBC’s Make It has reported, forcing students to get vaccinated when it comes to a virus that’s highly transmissible is something that has already been done in the past in colleges, and it’s also legal.
As attorney Renee Mattei Myers told Make It, “Under everything that we’ve seen, and the guidance from agencies like the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission [EEOC] and the Department of Education, it’s been stated that just like how [colleges] can require other vaccines like meningitis and measles and hepatitis for incoming students, that they could require this vaccine as well.”
The same Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidance from December issued that vaccines can be mandatory in certain places. However, this is not a medical examination, because that’s forbidden by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

You used a very misleading choice of words–no one can be “FORCED” to take the vaccine, but (students,
for example) CAN be FACED with the decision to vaccinate or relinquish their privilege of returning to campus–RIGHT?!
