#3 Depp was “the love of her life”, but living with him showed her he was also “this other thing” which was just horrible!
While Depp was struggling with his addiction to drugs and alcohol, Heard describes him as turning into a completely different person. From her testimony, it sounds like Depp was possessed by someone, and she goes as far as to refer to him as an “awful thing”. Continuing, she claimed that he would be so out of it from all the substances he abused that he would pass out in his own sickness and have everyone around him clean up after him (including herself and his security team).
Akin to magic, when he would sober up and “get clean”, he would turn back into the Depp she knew, the man she fell in love with and who made her feel loved. She claimed that she thought of leaving the actor many times but couldn’t go through with it as Depp would claim she was the one who “saved his life”.
#4 Even Heard’s sister got into an aggressive altercation with the actor!
The actress went as far as to say that Depp wasn’t only aggressive and violent towards her but towards her family members as well. She brought up an instance she remembered when her younger sister was having an argument with her ex-husband close to the stairs. According to her, she had flashbacks of Kate Moss and the allegation that Depp pushed her down the stairs.
Trying to protect her sister, Heard claims she didn’t even hesitate to get between them and then made another shocking statement. She said that in her marriage with Depp until that point, she had never hit him even once, but that this moment marked the first time she landed a blow directly on his face.
We’re taking this one with a grain of salt after the recording of her boasting about how she hit Depp, not “punched” him, that was played earlier during the trial.
