Elizabeth Short was found dead on January 15, 1947, in a parking lot near Leimert Park in Los Angeles. The aspiring actress was definitely murdered, since her body was cut in half when she was found, and she was drained of blood.
Whoever killed her, did a very good job in cleaning all evidence, reasons for which the murdered was never found. There was a single witness that wasn’t much help either, because he only saw a black sedan parked there and haven’t seen anything else.
While the police investigation continued for a few years and many conspiracy theories appeared over time, the crime remained unresolved and Short’s killer was never found. Elizabeth Short’s death is considered one of the most brutal murders and the oldest, most famous cold unsolved crimes in California up to this day.

All that I know was that I saw Elvis in Baltimore at one of his last concerts.
When he started to perform, it seemed that he had a hard time standing up.
Several times, during his performance, he was almost carried off stage, some other
singers performed. They helped Elvis come back on stage; however, he was off and
on during most of his performance. It was so sad and to have lost a great talent was
really terrible.
