As you might know already, 49 of the states have decided to shut down gym facilities last year due to a large number of infections. However, now that the numbers are going down and more and more people are getting vaccinated in the United States, gyms are being reopened at limited capacity.

But it might take a while until gyms will operate at full capacity and pre-pandemic standards. The truth is most of us got used to working out at home since the pandemic hit the United States, and it’s definitely just as effective if you have the proper equipment, much safer when it comes to the virus, and also time-efficient.

It’s also a huge bonus that you avoid crowded gyms, which were a big no-no even before the pandemic. And even though many people cannot wait to go back to the gym after such a long time, at-home training will still remain very popular even after COVID-19, explains BMO analyst Simeon Siegel.
