2. Hand Of The Desert, Atacama, Chile
This statue was made by the Chilean sculptor Mario Irarrázabal. This giant hand looks like the hand of a giant that is slowly clawing its way through the surface of the Atacama desert.
Seemingly, Mario Irarrázabal is a fan of giant hands rising from the desert as he has built two more similar sculptures in both the US and Uruguay, but they are not so impressive in scale.
