Julianne Moore

We all love and admire Julianne Moore. And truly, this just makes us love her even more! She only has one child and she gave birth to Liv at home. Moreover, she has allegedly become involved with a home birth advocacy mission which was started by Ricki Lane. Ricki Lane made a documentary on home births after she had her second child, which was a home birth, on which she decided after she had a traumatic experience in the hospital with the birth of her first son.

Alyson Hannigan

With how the hit TV series “How I Met Your Mother” became a cult classic over the years (and for good measure, the show is hilarious!) it is easy to recognize Alyson Hannigan. But it’s not like it was a hard thing to do, as she was a regular part of the cast of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” so we all knew of her before the sitcom hit our TV screens.

The actress chose to give birth to both of her children at home and revealed even more about it in an interview in 2015. She admits that choosing to give birth at home is not for everyone, but it worked for her perfectly as she has an aversion to hospitals. Using the idea of needing to be comfortable in order to have a less stressful delivery, she chose this one and says it was phenomenal for her.

Lisa Bonet

Lisa Bonet is a well-known actress and back in 1988, she had her first child with singer Lenny Kravitz: Zoe Kravitz was born at home, a choice not many were opting for in the last 80s. Years later, after she started dating Jason Mamoa (you may remember him from “Game of Thrones” and “Aquaman”), she also gave birth to their daughter, now 14, and son, now 13, at home as well. She chose to give birth to all three of her children at home, and we respect her for her choices!
