3. Hotel Monte Vista, Flagstaff, Arizona

Another hotel famous for the terrible thing that happened there is Hotel Monte Vista in Flagstaff, Arizona. This hotel had several paranormal guests, including a man who liked to hand raw meat from the chandelier in Room 210. Additionally, two women were thrown off the third floor and killed and many male guests reported being almost asphyxiated in their sleep.

Additionally, some guests and staff members have reported hearing infant cries that came from the basement. Actor John Wayne stayed in this hotel and he also reported a paranormal encounter.

 

4. Villisca Axe Murder House

The house was located in the town of Villisca, Iowa, at 508 E Second Street when a crime took place on June 10, 1912. Josiah B. Moore, his wife, and children were all killed by two young girls that they welcomed to their home as overnight guests.

The families that lived in this household after the crime mentioned paranormal activities such as male’s sightings with the ax and the sound of crying children heard at night.
