10 Things You SHOULD NEVER Do On a Plane

Do NOT take too many bags with you!

It may not seem like a big deal to some, but imagine everyone is coming with multiple carry-ons and backpacks, plus bags with things from the airport. It would cause a whole mess. We all remember those people who sweat from carrying too many things with them, so do not become that person.

Not only will your extra bags need to be checked in, but you may end up having to pay for them. Not to mention, there is limited space in the cabin: when the crew says only carry-ons are meant for the overhead compartment, and to put your backpack under the seat in front of you, they mean it.

Is your bag too heavy to lift up in the overhead bin? Tough luck, it’s NOT the crew’s duty to help you.

Speaking of bags, you should not expect the flight attendants to help you hoist heavy bags in the overhead compartment. What some do not realize is that everyone is responsible for their own luggage and the crew does not have to help you get it up in the compartment (this doesn’t apply if there is someone elderly or that requires special assistance of course).

Moreover, if your carry-on is too heavy to be put in the overhead compartment, it means it is too heavy to be in the cabin and should have been checked in. There is a reason carry-on bags have a size and weight limit. Do not try to stuff everything in a small suitcase just because you don’t want to pay for a checked-in one.
