#1 If they serve it in a bowl, would it then be soup?
Let’s be honest, some people might actually think that whiskey could be soup. But at the same time, a restaurant shouldn’t be encouraging this type of behavior. Most probably, whoever wrote these signs thought they would save some space and write everything on the same side. The result was very unfortunate for them, but very funny for the rest of us!
We just think they shouldn’t try to make whiskey their secret ingredient for soups anytime soon!

Reminds me of a sign I saw years ago outside a restaurant in Oregon or northern California at the end of a row of businesses just before the street turned into the country highway:
Eat Here or We Both Starve
