10 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris has taken her role as a step-mon very seriously.

Kamala Harris married American lawyer, Douglas Craig Emhoff, in 2014, and was given the step-mother role to his two children, Cole and Ella. As she didn’t like the ‘step-mother’ term, Kamala and the kids decided to use ‘Momala’ instead.

The vice president mentioned in a May 2019 interview that these two kids are her infinite source of love and happiness. She also said that her heart wouldn’t be full without these beautiful children in her life.

So even if she didn’t give life to them, she loves them as if she did. Harris has always been a role model for her niece, as well. Meena Harris is a Harvard-educated lawyer, and she published a children’s book called ‘Kamala and Maya’s Big Idea’, just like her aunt.

In fact, Meena has two girls who also love and admire Harris very much. There’s a video on the internet with Amara (Meena’s daughter) sitting on Kamala’s lap, where the vice president told her great-niece that she could become president one day. Even though it’s not possible right now, as she has to be over the age of 35, it could happen one day.

Needles to say, this video became viral.
