Spray cheese
Even though spray cheese is very common in the United States, people from other countries never heard of it. I guess it’s safe to say that it is a distinctly American phenomenon. As Americans, we love things that are convenient and make our job easier. And what could be easier to use than being able to spray your cheese?
Blogger Expat Claptrap has explained that “The idea that American people love processed cheese, squeezed out of cans seems to me to be one of the stronger notions British people have about us Yanks and our culture.”
According to British Quora, processed cheese is probably the American item that is the least understood by other nations. As Quora user Adam M. Steiner said, orange ‘cheese’ squares are a big no-no.
Another Quora user, Steve Jones, said that American bright yellow cheese looks so peculiar and unnatural. Just taste it, Jones!
