Air conditioning
Even though other countries use air conditioning as well, it certainly not as common as it is in the United States. A Washington Post article written in 2015 said that “many Europeans visiting the U.S. frequently complain about the freezing cold temperatures inside buses or hotels,” and “it’s safe to say that Europe thinks America’s love of air-conditioning is actually quite daft.”
But just try to imagine your life without air conditioning, during the summer months. Having to deal with the heat without air conditioning will likely be unbearable, so it’s definitely better with it, even though other people outside America don’t agree.
