Ohio
As Gov. Mike DeWine said in a statement on April 23, Ohio will start reusing the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, as it has been considered safe and effective by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
He also added that ACIP had a comprehensive analysis of the J&J vaccine, coming to the conclusion that the benefits outweigh the risks. Therefore, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will continue to be administrated in the United States as of April 23.
All providers in Ohio will also start administering the Jenssen vaccine immediately, while also following CDC’s and FDA’s recommendations.
