Oklahoma
Oklahoma is another state that resumed the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as of April 23. Additionally, state health officials also urged vaccine providers to start administering the vaccine immediately if they have any shots available.
However, the vaccination process has slowed down in the state in the past few weeks, and even though it might not have anything to do with the rare blood clots reported in those six women, Oklahoma Deputy Health Commissioner Keith Reed believes it could be a contributing factor.
Therefore, it’s important that people in Oklahoma will continue to get vaccinated in order to prevent transmission prevent new strains from emerging into the state.
