Stop Doing These Rude Things Every Time You Go to a Restaurant

You’re keeping your phone near your plate, on the table.

Let’s face it, we all do it sometimes. Even though there are a lot of etiquette problems when it comes to using cell phones in restaurants, Adeodata Czink, etiquette expert and author of Business of Manners, suggests turning off your phone or put in on silent while you’re there.

She also recommends keeping the phone out of your eyesight while you enjoy your meal and stay at the restaurant. Czink explained that having to constantly hear other people’s notifications is considered very annoying.

Also, it would be better to have a pleasant conversation with the people that sit with you at the table, instead of scrolling down through Instagram or Facebook. Plus, it makes people feel appreciated.

Or, if you have an important call, make sure to take it outside or walk to the bathroom, not at your table where you can disturb other clients. Other people don’t need to hear you talking while they’re enjoying their meal.

  1. Only N95 masks and others of medical grade are marginally effective at blocking the 1 micron virus… The cloth and paper masks are useless, and the only purpose they serve is to show obedience..
To the ones pulling the strings , it is all about control..
But , by all means , be a good sheep and don’t get in trouble…

I’ve probably just been flagged and marked ))

  2. Most of these are common courtesy to anyone who has common sense. Granted, that is becoming more and more rare with each generation. However, not making a toast and clinking glasses? Seriously? This person must have been brought up in a very bland and passionless lifestyle.

  3. so helpful, two things that I have been guilty, stacking dishes and utensils, thinking I am being helpful, and arguing over the check. lessons learned…..thank youl
