Alcohol might not be available on flights anymore.
As airlines have been forced to adapt to the new circumstances created by the coronavirus, the first thing that was banned, was the in-flight alcohol service. The measure was taken in order to prevent passengers from prolonging the time where they didn’t have to wear a face mask, by lingering over their drinks for the entire flight.
While it’s true that certain airlines have started bringing back alcohol, others are still operating with limited complimentary service. American Airlines brought back their full beverage service, and they’re also planning on bringing back their regular complimentary service soon.
Even so, it might take a while until we’ll get back all our most pre-pandemic alcohol options during flights.
