Franklin D. Roosevelt and Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (married)
Future president Franklin D. Roosevelt married his fifth cousin once removed, Eleanor Roosevelt, in 1905. Her father, Elliot, was the brother of Theodore Roosevelt. He died due to alcoholism when Eleanor was only 10 years old. Her mother died as well from diphtheria when she was eight.
So the little Eleanor was raised by the extended Roosevelt family and met her future husband for the first time when she was two and he was four. They frequently saw each other on different occasions, from family gatherings to parties, and they become very close. At 22 years old, Franklin proposed to her, and they lived together until the end of their lives.

The way I understand Rudy’s and Regina family relationship is not second cousins but first cousins once removed. If Regina had a child, that child and Rudy would be second cousins. Help me understand the connection if I am incorrect.
