After entering rehab two times, Keith Urban believes his wife, Nicole Kidman, is his savior. He thanks Nicole for helping him stay sober all this time, even though it wasn’t always easy.
The country star called his wife his salvation in a 2016 interview with Rolling Stone. Also, before meeting Kidman, Urban had a very dar journey with substance abuse and had a lot of dar thoughts, including suicide.
“I remember thinking, ‘I’m probably not going to make it until tomorrow,’ he said in the interview. ‘It’ll be a relief to not have to. I’ll take an Ambien and at some point I’ll pass.'”
He also added that it was a miracle that his marriage with Kidman has survived because it wasn’t easy for hear living with an addict. Thanks to his wife, Keith Urban said that he was born again and awakened by her presence.
Kidman’s presence in his life was the first moment when he felt like he was able to live without using drugs. And he’s sober ever since.
