Oregon
As you might know already if you’re from Oregon, the Western States Scientific Safety Review Workgroup (which works with governors from Oregon, Washington, California, and Nevada) has worked on making its own Johnson & Johnson review. Therefore, the workgroup discovered that the vaccine is indeed safe and effective, so it advised those states to resume vaccination.
According to Oregon Gov. Kate Brown, he considers himself lucky to be one of the 6.8 million Americans that have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and be protected against the virus.
He also wanted Oregonians to feel safe when it comes to the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, because all the federal doctors, scientists, and health experts that have worked in the Workgroup and reviewed the vaccine made a really good job.
He also added that the benefits of the Jenssen vaccine outweigh the risks, so people need to be confident and get inoculated as soon as possible. He also mentioned one of the six women that reported the severe blood clots, the one that died, actually, because she was from Oregon.
“My heart goes out to the family in Oregon who lost a loved one after receiving her shot, and all others who may have been impacted by this rare condition,” he added.
