We are not as outraged about the fact that it was his cousin, as we are by the age and so was the media back then. He got A LOT of negative publicity, it got so bad his fees for a concert dropped from $10,000 to $250.
They divorced in the 70s and had two kids. This was his third marriage, but not his last since he is currently on his 7th marriage… Maybe if he discovers any more cousins this will change again.

The way I understand Rudy’s and Regina family relationship is not second cousins but first cousins once removed. If Regina had a child, that child and Rudy would be second cousins. Help me understand the connection if I am incorrect.
